European Masters at the Faculty of Computer Science of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
The Faculty of Computer Science at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy, offers two European Masters Programmes as part of its Master of Science in Computer Science (Laurea Specialistica in Informatica).
Together with the Technische Universitaet Dresden (Germany), the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal), the Technische Universitaet Wien (Austria), and the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (Spain) it offers a distributed EUROPEAN MASTERS PROGRAM IN COMPUTATIONAL LOGIC. This program involves studying one year at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, and completing the second year with a stay in one of the partner universities. After this, the student will obtain, together with the European degree, two Master of Science degrees: the Laurea Specialistica in Informatica degree from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, with legal value in Italy, and the respective Master of Science degree from the visited university, with legal value in its country.
Together with the Saarland University (Germany) it offers a distributed EUROPEAN MASTER IN LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES. Students of the European Master in Language and Communication Technologies enrol in one of the two universities and are required to spend at least one semester at the other university. In the context of the European Master Programme the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano co-operates with ITC-irst of Trento, the leading research institute in Italy on Language and Communication Technologies.
